Open House! April 19 10 am - 12 pm and April 20 1 pm - 3 pm
Our goal is to provide a learning environment that encourages success for students who do not fit the traditional classroom. We offer flexible learning areas and self-directed learning. The curriculum is adapted to the individual student and delivered through a homeschool learning pod model.
Christine was born in Atlanta and raised in Marietta. She graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and an MBA. Christine has two adult daughters with ADHD. She pursued a corporate career in finance and accounting, but as her children grew, her passion changed. Christine started a second career as a 6-12 grade math teacher. To further her background in education, she earned a specialist degree in gifted and talented education from the University of Georgia. Always continuing to learn, Christine became a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator in 2018. She took her 13 ½ years of experience teaching inclusion, on-level, gifted, and accelerated math to start a school that fulfills her passion for helping middle school students achieve success.
Kelly grew up in Naples, Florida. She attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN, where she received a BA in Mathematics and a teaching certificate in grade 6-12. She married in 1989 and has three children. Kelly has six years of experience teaching in a private Christian school and over 20 years of teaching in public schools. She has continued her own education experience to include a master's in Technology of Education, gifted certification, and a Microsoft Innovator Educator Certification. Her classroom experience includes teaching inclusion, on-level, gifted, and accelerated courses. Kelly has known and worked with Christine Price for 14 years and shares her passion to help all children reach success.
Rita grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a BA in Communications. She moved to the Atlanta area in 1995, married in 1998, and has two adult sons. As a mom of a highly functioning autistic child and an ADHD and academically struggling child, Rita adds the special needs mom perspective to the team. Christine Price tutored both of her boys, and a conversation one day after tutoring led to her involvement and passion for SGA. She worked in Corporate America for 20 years as a marketing executive, owned her marketing firm, and now owns a skincare business with Rodan + Fields. She’s excited to be part of the SGA team.
